Saudi Arabia's Riyadh, From January 28 to January 31, 2025, Saudi Arabia will participate in the prestigious IPM Essen horticulture trade event in Germany to promote its agricultural innovations and local rural goods.
This involvement is a component of the Kingdom's Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program, which aims to support small farmers worldwide and emphasize its efforts in rural development.
The Saudi delegation will highlight ties and collaborations with international specialists while showcasing its efforts in rural community development and small-scale farmer support.
The objective is to draw in foreign investment, fortify international cooperation, and align with Vision 2030 goals to diversify the economy, increase food security, and elevate Saudi Arabia's agricultural standing globally, according to Majed Al-Buraikan, the program's assistant secretary-general for media and communication.
Support programs for farmers and materials showcasing supported industries including Saudi coffee, honey, and fragrant plants will be available at the Saudi pavilion at IPM Essen.
Conferences and workshops addressing possibilities and difficulties in sustainable agriculture will also be part of the event, providing insights into creative solutions that could help Saudi Arabia's small farmers.
This program is a reflection of Saudi Arabia's overarching plan to advance its agriculture industry and support world food security.
The Kingdom hopes to establish itself as a major force in the world agriculture market and promote economic diversification in accordance with Vision 2030 by participating in international trade shows.
